Shoot! I lost everything I typed for the past 15 minutes!!! Argh!!

Now I have to do every thing over again...

Since my last blog, it's been 7 months already.

Gone through a re-structuring exercise, got stabbed in the back, screamed at by unreasonable agencies etc etc. Heck of a roller coaster 7 months, I would say.

After my ex specialist left, I got Shu Ying as the new Senior Officer. A strange "siao siao" girl (no offense to Shu Ying, if you happened to read this ok? =P), she is nevertheless a thoroughly capable SO. Together with Nancy, my colleagues like Mrs Tan, Ms Goh, Yee Eng etc, I was able to scrape through these months. Thank you all! (p.s.:By the way, I have also "lost" one of my officers Raimah to MOE, and "gained" Mr Eio from there. Not gonna comment too much about this issue here, cos it kind of creates some negative emotions in me..)

The worry I have now is that my dear Ms Shu Ying is gonna leave us. The unfortunate circumstances that we find ourselves in are making her really irritated and disappointed and disillusioned and etc etc. Much as I wish that she will stay, I can't stop her in good conscience, not if she is able to find something better. Sighz...

"What about yourself?" you may ask. Let me say this: my options are open, we'll see...

Cool! I can dress down on Fridays!!! Wahahah

It's raining today, and my cold cubicle is now officially frozen. Oops , not the cubicle itself, but me. Brr....

This morning I did some checking of cases in reports. Not too hard, but then again, this is just the 3rd working day for me. Preparing myself for more difficult tasks ahead.

For those who read my blog, thank you very much for your concern. I am ok now, so please don't worry. Knowing me, I can overcome my negative emotions very quickly. The happy-go-lucky Jian Yong, Michael that you know is back. =) FYI, I'm still much in love with my gf, and yes, she is still my gf!

New job, new environment.

Today is my first day in my new job. I woke up on time, left my house on time, and reached my work place on time.

Being the first day, there is actually nothing much for me to do now. I got ready my passwords, tidied my table abit (though it doesn't really need much tidying), and read through the information I found on the Intranet.

One thing about this place, IT'S FREEZING!!!! I must remember to bring a nice warm jacket here. Oh, and my cup too, and lots of packet drinks, so as to make some hot beverage to keep the cold away. Brrr....

Unpredictability

Recently, a colleague cum friend of mine passed away. Her name was Shirley. She was 25, a nice and bubbly person. Sometimes she may rub people the wrong way, but she is still an ok person on the whole. We used to be office talking buddies; sometimes I would accompany her down for a smoke. Her passing was a stunning shock to those who knew her.

Her passing showed once again, that life is inherently unpredictable. Anything can happen at any time, and we should treasure all those around us. Do not be miserly with your love for your family, friends, brothers and sisters, and your fellow man. Do things that you want as soon as you can (of course, no illegal or inmoral matters).

Goodbye Shirley, we will miss you. You will be remembered fondly. May you rest in peace now that you are in a better place.

Chalet Day

Today is the first day of my 4 day 3 night chalet. Excited, cos my honz told me she will be coming to join me 2nite! Too bad she cannot come tomorrow, cos of work. Never mind, at least I get to be with her tonite.

Invitation to BBQ was a failure, at least for my APD colleagues. Too sudden probably. Sheesh. Still have not asked Glenn and the guys. Should I?

Had a sleepless night. I managed to doze at about 5am. Woke up at 9.15am by a phone call from NKF. Asked me to help them garner donations again this year. I said no. HAHAHA Too lazy.

I supposee I will be bringing this laptop along with me today, as there is Wifi over at the chalet. Maybe I'll find time to write something there tonight? We'll see.

I love you honz! Even though you probably would not see this post anyways, I just want to scream this out loud.

I really, really love you. You are never troublesome to me. You think that I am great to be able to put up with your whims and fancies, but in fact, you are the one who has to suffer with me for this 4 years. I have to thank you. So what I can do for you is nothing much, compared to you being besides me these years. No matter how much you think you are not perfect, I love you as you are, change or no change. But I'm really hurt this time. It's ok though, I will get over it. I know you don't mean to hurt me. Don't worry. I hope you do sort out you "feelings" soon. I cannot bear to see you upset. I'm not noble, I'm just selfish. Because if you are happy, I will be too.

Another phase of my life...

Right now, i am nervously awaiting my results. Looking for a job too. went for a 2nd selection round today at an advisory. thinking about fixed salary vs commission pay. suggestions anyone? what should i choose? sighz... i finally know how tough it is to find a "ideal" job. sighz... anyways, i think it is about time i call Sportslink again to check on my shoes (which split after just 3 days). sighz... i wanna break, but i can't.... not when i no money and no job. AARRGGHH!!!!

Whew. s'been awhile since i wrote here. no time really. anyways exams are over now; hopefull i can graduate and get a job soon. bought a new pair of basketball shoes today. =) right now i am a lil' tired. maybe i will sleep early tonight. now the problem is to find a job. wat should i do? i'm not really interested in insurance. rather keen to see wat phillip capital is about though. hmph....

Thought i would try some other colour today. God knows i need something different to spice up my boring existence. Anyways, "congratulations" to myself for falling sick right at the beginning of the exams. Went to see a doctor today to get medication to plug my leaky nose. Guess what? I had to reject the doctor's MC! hahahaha... Btw, as u can see, i haven't found a nice skin that i like, so for the time being, i'll just leave this as it is. Right now, i am taking another one of my breaks (which i have been taking all too often... :p hehehehe). 2 exams on tuesday, wonder if i can make it. both are tough Maths ones..... sheesh.... Wait one, gotta blow my nose..... Ah, that's better. Tonight's the last episode of Ru Lai Shen Zhang on channel 8, wonder if i should watch it. hmph... Swordfish on channel 5 too.... Oh i cut my finger just now, and while i am typing this, the wound is still stinging. Fortunately is just a shallow and small cut. Will be back in school tml, staying overnight too. For 2 nights!! Hope my flu don't get worse.... Thanks to all the people who commented here so far (that's 3!! =p ) Shall pen off here and bury my leaky nose into my notes again....

Oh well, seems to me like everyone has their own blog nowadays, so i thought i should try it too. Anyways, right now i am having my exams. 1 module is done, so 5 more left. sighz..... Hopefully i can grad this semester. Somehow i am finding it harder and harder to study. Why? i really dunno. I guess right at the beginning i should not have chosen to major in Maths, should have gone for Arts modules instead. Well, what's done is done. On a more relaxed note, i am now searching google for nice blog skins/tenplates. =) Hopefully i can find a good one. Spice up this site abit. =)
